The 27th Annual Lights of Love Celebration is Coming Up!

Since 1995, the Friends of the Elm Grove Library has been raising funds for the library with the annual Lights of Love campaign & Village Tree Lighting celebration.

This year, the village tree lighting celebration will be an indoor/outdoor event and will feature socially distant photos with Santa, ornament coloring, a festive story time performance by Sunset Playhouse, and caroling by Tom Leahy & local Girl Scouts. Then one lucky young library patron will “flip the switch” to turn on the village tree for 2021! All community members are invited to join us at Village Hall on Sunday, December 5th from 3:30-5:00pm.

Leading up to the event, children ages 3-12 can enter a raffle to “Flip the Switch” and turn on the tree lights each time they check out books from the library in the month of November.  The winner will be chosen on Tuesday, December 2nd.
