Please join us for the 23rd annual Lights of Love tree lighting! This fun and family-friendly event will be held on Sunday, December 3rd from 3:30-5:30pm at the Elm Grove Library and Village Hall. The festivities include crafts with Marla, the Lionel Railroad Club train table, stories from Mrs. Claus, and a visit from Santa himself! The afternoon concludes with carols and the iconic tree lighting. Hope to see you there!
Lights of Love is the premier fundraising event brought to you by the Friends of the Elm Grove Library. Since 2014, Lights of Love has raised over $53,100 for the Elm Grove Library. This money has enabled the library to purchase over 500 new CDs, DVDs, and BluRays, an ADA compliant computer desk, 84 adult, children’s, and young adult Playaways, and a new aquarium for the children’s area. In addition, the funds have supported adult and summer reading programs for over 300 participants, updates to the library’s website, and specialty shelving for library materials. And of course, periodicals, databases, books, books, and more books!
